Mike Piazza owns and manages three wonderful old factory buildings located in Kingston, NY that have been brought back to life and are now the home to a Community of Artists. Kinston, NY was rated by Business Week Magazine as the # 5 City in the US for migrating artists to relocate, over San Francisco. This exciting atmosphere continues to draw artists and entrepreneurs from all over the U.S.

Each building has its own personality yet each share a common blend of functionality and creativity. The owner, also an artist, understands the need for open space, natural light, and a collaborative environment.  He and his staff work hard to create an environment that supports the essentials an artist needs to produce and develop his or her individual style of work.

This exciting art community continues to grow and prosper. An incredible amount of talented people are making the Shirt Factory, the Brush Factory, and the Pajama Factory their creative home and finding a synergy with each that is very unique and that offers a positive experience. These like minded entrepreneurs have found common ground for networking and growing their businesses.

Artists  and other professionals that make The Shirt Factory, The Brush Factory, and the Pajama Factory their headquarters include Visual Painters, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Photography, Pottery, Glass, Clothing Design, Woodworking, Sound Mixing  & Recording, Jewelry Design, Web Design, Video Production/Post Production, Yoga, Financial Advisory,  and Computer Repair and Maintenance.

Tenants regularly participate in events sponsored by The Shirt Factory. Among these events are group openings and open studio tours.  First Saturday is an advertised event where artists offer open studio tours, hosted by the tenants and in conjunction with the Art Society of Kingston (ASK)
